Dear Parent(s) and Guardian(s),

Being it ‘concert season,’ I want to recognize the exceptional work of our music educators across the District. Our recent concerts serve as a powerful reminder of what is possible when talented students are supported by passionate, dedicated educators who deeply believe in the value of music education.

These performances were more than celebrations; they were authentic demonstrations of learning. A concert is a true performance assessment: students applying skills, discipline, collaboration, and confidence in a real-world setting. Students’ performances on stage reflected the countless hours of instruction, rehearsal, feedback, and care that had gone into their preparation. We are fortunate to work with extraordinarily talented students and to have music educators who nurture that talent with expertise and care.

There is so much for our District to be proud of. Our music programs exemplify excellence, commitment, and joy in learning, and they continue to enrich our schools and our communities in meaningful ways.

If you have the chance this week, please join me in thanking a music educator.

Respectfully,

Gregory L. Martineau
Superintendent of Schools
Story Bridge Needs Your Partnership

The Story Bridge is returning for its fifth year in The Public Schools of Northborough and Southborough, and we invite community members and organizations to join us in building connections and fostering a sense of belonging across our towns.

This February, ten storytellers will share compelling personal narratives at Algonquin Regional High School. Participants work with acclaimed authors through workshops and individual coaching, developing stories that strengthen our community fabric.

How You Can Get Involved:

Apply to be a storyteller – We welcome parents, educators, staff, and community members to share their stories on stage. Click here to learn more and apply

Become a sponsor – View sponsorship opportunities that help sustain this vital program.

Spread the word – Share news of the showcase on February 26 at 6 PM at the Algonquin Black Box Theater with your networks and encourage participation.
