The mission of the Northborough Public Schools’ Media Centers is to provide access to a diverse collection of quality resources in a variety of formats, the appropriate technologies, and a highly skilled staff to support the Northborough Public School District Curriculum, the Massachusetts Common Core Learning, and the State Curriculum Frameworks. The media center will provide instruction to its community of learners in locating, retrieving, synthesizing, evaluating and presenting information, and in conjunction with other educators, design learning strategies to meet the needs of individual students. The media center will promote the love of reading, direct learners to become effective information seekers and encourage self-motivated lifelong learners.
