I am pleased to share exciting news about our schools. U.S. News & World Report has released its annual national rankings of public high schools, and Algonquin Regional High School earned a Gold Performance ranking. Algonquin ranks among the top high schools in Massachusetts and within the top 400 nationwide.
While this honor highlights the work at the high school, it truly reflects the dedication of educators and staff across our PreK–12 system. Every teacher, support professional, and administrator plays a role in preparing our students for success, and this recognition speaks to their collective efforts.
At the same time, the rankings represent just one measure of success. Our most important work continues, ensuring ALL students’ needs are met and reach their fullest potential.
In addition, Boston Magazine has published its list of the top 100 high schools in Greater Boston, and Algonquin was ranked 19th overall, a strong showing compared to peer districts. The complete list can be found here.
Thank you for your ongoing support of our students and schools.
Respectfully,
Gregory L. Martineau Superintendent of Schools
