Dear Parent(s) and Guardian(s),

On Friday, October 3, 2025, NSboro students participated in Titan Games, an inspiring event celebrating inclusion, teamwork, and perseverance. Athletes and partners came together to compete with energy, enthusiasm, and joy - showcasing the true spirit of sportsmanship.

Thank you to our student-athletes, educators, Educational Support Professionals (ESPs_, Student Support Services (SSS) team, and families who made this event possible. Titan Games reminds us that when we compete together, everyone wins.

This week, I'd also like to congratulate Fannie E. Proctor Elementary School. The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) has named Fannie E. Proctor Elementary School a School of Recognition.

As part of its annual accountability reporting process, the Department identifies a small number of Schools of Recognition across the Commonwealth. DESE recognized Proctor for demonstrating substantial progress toward annual accountability targets, emphasizing improved achievement in English Language Arts (ELA) and mathematics.

This recognition reflects the dedication and hard work of our students, staff, and families. Congratulations to Principal Mahoney, the Proctor faculty and staff, and the entire school community on this well-deserved honor!

Strategic Planning: Shaping the future of our schools, Vision 2032

In 2019, The Public Schools of Northborough and Southborough launched Vision 2026: Educate, Inspire, Challenge—a six-year strategic plan that has guided our improvement and innovation efforts across all schools. As 2026 approaches, it’s time to renew our vision and set a course for the next six years.

This fall, we’re beginning the process of developing Vision 2032, our new strategic plan for 2026–2032. Using the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s Planning for Success model, the Districts will engage in a process to create, align, and implement a plan that defines clear goals, measurable outcomes, and initiatives to support student success.

Throughout the fall and winter, we’ll collect feedback from students, staff, families, community groups, and town leaders. Beginning in December, we’ll host several listening sessions and launch a district-wide survey (both online and on paper) to gather broad input.

Your voice matters. Together, we’ll shape Vision 2032—a roadmap that will continue to educate, inspire, and challenge every student in our communities.

A timeline titled 'Planning for Success (PfS)' lists dates, events, times, and locations.
