Dear Parents and Guardians,
We hope this message finds you well. As we continue to work towards providing the best learning experience for our students, we will be continuing to issue school-owned devices to the students of the Public Schools of Northborough and Southborough.
To ensure that families are informed of device protection options, we want to inform you that there are several insurance companies that offer device insurance policies for school-owned devices, including laptops, tablets, and other electronic devices. These policies cover accidental damage, theft, and other incidents.
Here are some insurance providers that offer policies for families interested in protecting their student’s school issued device. This should not be considered a complete list.
Please note that the school district does not endorse or recommend any particular provider. We encourage you to review any policies and coverage options before selecting any insurance provider to ensure it meets your needs and budget.
We understand that accidents can happen, and employ technicians to repair district devices that suffer damage. However, it is often enough that devices are damaged beyond repair.
