Meals will be FREE for the 2025-2026 school year
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts extended free school meals for all students through the 2025-2026 school year! This means that lunch and breakfast at all schools will continue to be served at no cost to all students.
Summer Meals
- The District does not provide summer meals.
- Families in need of support this summer are encouraged to contact Project Bread hotline - 1-800-645-8333. They will connect with a variety of local summer food options.
2nd Meal
Each of the 10 schools has different systems (check in with main office) for 2nd meals. With a 2nd meal, the student will be charged. The charge for a second meal is: $3.85
Adult Meals
An adult meal price is $4.70
Food Services Management Company
Whitsons Culinary Group has been contracted by the District to provide Food Services Management for our 10 schools.
At Whitsons Culinary Group, our mission is to enhance life one meal at a time™—and that starts in the school cafeteria. With over 45 years of experience in food service management, we specialize in providing nutritious, well-balanced meals that fuel student success. As a family-operated company, we believe wholesome food plays a vital role in both learning and development. Our dedicated school nutrition teams focus on creating delicious, healthy menus that meet USDA guidelines while also introducing students to new flavors and ingredients. We're proud to be a trusted partner in your school community and a part of your child’s educational journey.
The District is contracting with Whitsons Culinary Group for the 2025-2026 school year for Food Services Management.

You can find the menu by using the search bar to find your child’s school – For example, if your child attends the Peaslee Elementary School, you can search “Peaslee.”
Families are encouraged to create or update their MySchoolBucks account. Students must maintain a positive balance on their account for second meals or a la carte items. Students can not purchase snacks, second meals, or other a la carte items without a positive balance. The parent/guardian is responsible for keeping the accounts in good standing. Please contact your school’s cafeteria manager for more information about offerings and MySchoolBucks.

Donations, Refunds, and Transfers from MySchoolBucks
Students who graduate or unenroll from the district and have funds left in their meal account may request a refund, transfer funds to another student's account, or donate the funds to the District’s Food Services Program to help support the needs of the program.
Request for a refund must be made within 12 months of graduation/withdrawal or the balance will be donated to the District's Food Services Program.

- You can donate your existing MSB balance by completing the FORM below and indicate your desire to donate remaining funds.

You may transfer funds to another student in our District. The account holder needs to complete the form linked below. Forms need to be emailed to the appropriate Food Services Manager.

To request a refund, please allow up to 12 weeks for your refund to be processed. The account holder needs to complete the form linked below. Forms need to be emailed to the appropriate Food Services Manager.
