Important Information on Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) (August 20th, 2019)

Dear Parent(s) and Guardian(s):

In response to the threat of Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) virus and the designations of Critical Risk in Southborough and High Risk in Northborough, the Public Schools of Northborough and Southborough are adhering to the recommendations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH),  Center for Disease Control (CDC)Northborough Board of HealthSouthborough Board of Health and the press release from Southborough Public Health and Safety Department. The districts and school leaders are working closely with Northborough and Southborough town officials to ensure the safety and well-being of all of our students and staff.  We will continue to update our school communities as we receive more information.

Due to the Critical Risk designation in Southborough, effective August 19 at 5:00 PM, all Southborough town-owned outdoor properties will be closed between the hours of 6:00 pm and 6:00 am.
