New Bus Tracking Application - Ready for use!
Dear Parent(s) and Guardian(s),
North Reading Transportation (NRT) is launching a new bus tracking application called, “Where is My Kid.” The Public Schools of Northborough and Southborough is the first district to use this application and we are excited to bring the benefit of GPS bus tracking to our school community. We are starting with sharing this with high school and middle school families on October 20th. Elementary will be on Monday, October 25th. However, if you have students at the elementary level, feel free to begin use.
To begin tracking your child’s bus, you need to set up an account, create zones, and enable notifications using the step-by-step directions linked below.
The information you will need to set up the app:
Your child’s student ID number. The student ID is found on any prior year report card, your student’s school-issued schedule, or PowerSchool (for those parents that have accounts). If you do not know your student’s ID number, please contact your school’s main office.
The bus number your student rides. Please ask your student for the bus number or you can search the email sent to you in August with the bus assignment information.
“Where is My Kid” Access Code. The Access Code for our school district is: NSBORO10 (final character is a zero)

How does "Where is my kid" work?
"Where is my kid" (WMK) uses a global positioning system (GPS) technology to locate and track your child’s school bus. Once the bus is within a preset range to your home, a notification will be sent to your mobile phone that has the application downloaded to it.
How do I sign up?
Click the "Sign Up" button
Enter school code: NSBORO10 (final character is a zero)
How much does it cost?
"Where is my kid" is available at no cost to all families. It's free!
Do I need separate accounts for each of my children? Or separate accounts if we all want to be notified separately?
You and your children can access all the information about the buses you need using just one "Where is my kid" account. You will be subscribing to each bus your family uses.
Can I view the website in a language other than English?
Yes. The "Where is my kid" program is available in Spanish. If your phone is already set to display Spanish, it will load automatically.
Reset your password by going to the “Where is my kid” website, not the app.

The Central Office and School Office do NOT manage the app.
The website/app wants me to enter a school code. What do I enter?
The code for the Public Schools of Northborough and Southborough is: NSBORO10 (final character is a zero).
I registered my account and the site is asking for a student ID.
A student ID number is assigned to your student by his/her school at registration. If you don't have this already, please contact your school for this information.
