Dear ARHS students and families,
I am excited that our school environment is beginning to return to normal: many of the most challenging protocols we employed last year will be reduced or eliminated. As Supt. Martineau has explained late this summer, the health and safety of students, families, faculty, and staff during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic remains our highest priority. In addition, we know that providing uninterrupted, full-time in-person teaching and learning opportunities is critical for our students. In support of this goal, we will continue to employ several key protocols, including requiring masks for students. The protocols are available by clicking on the following link: 2021-2022 Key COVID-19 Protocols, Guidelines, and Recommendations
I have enjoyed seeing you all this year and look forward to continuing to see you doing your best in classrooms, on the fields of play, on the stage, and around our beautiful campus.
|Absence, Tardiness, Dismissal Form|
In an effort to improve the efficiency of the school’s documentation and tracking of attendance we are moving to a form-based notification system that we ask all parents and guardians to use for notifying ARHS of any school absence, tardiness or dismissal from school.
If your child will be absent, tardy, or needs to be dismissed from school, please complete the form by clicking on the following link: Absence, Tardiness, Dismissal Form PRIOR to the start of the school day. In the case of any non-emergency dismissal, we ask that you complete this form no later than 8:30 AM on the morning of the dismissal.
Algonquin Regional High School is a community committed to providing a safe, supportive, and challenging learning environment which fosters critical and creative thinking. We believe respect, responsibility, and collaboration are essential to individual growth and academic achievement.
