MMS PTO October Minutes

Magazine Drive -Ellen gave update – gross total is $52,715. Still accepting internet
orders through June 2009. We will
receive monthly checks as orders come through. A flyer will be sent home with students as a reminder.

Grant Requests
á Field Trip support – Museum of
Science – checks will be coming in.
á $833 to reserve theater tix in June
for 7th grade. Will pay
through revolving account and then PTO will reimburse.
Internet Safety Night - 11/13 @ 6:30.
Publicize through Home Safety Network and Elementary schools.
Volunteer Sign up Sheet – Modify, customize and
reorganize – give explanation of each area where we need help. Group according to time
of year.
Speaker Program – Research speaker for another
girl program – possibly Joani Geltman.
Next meeting 11/13 @ 12:00 – be
prepared to have photo taken!
